Hot Artichoke Appetizers
By Sandra Woodruff

 Printer friendly page

Yield: 24 appetizers

24 marinated artichoke heart quarters (about 12 ounces)
4 ounces thinly sliced lean reduced-sodium cooked ham

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Drain the artichokes, reserving the marinade. Cut the ham into 3/4-inch wide strips. Wrap a strip of ham around each artichoke quarter, and secure with a wooden toothpick.

3. Place the artichoke pieces in a shallow baking dish and pour 3 tablespoons of the reserved marinade into the dish. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until heated through. Transfer to a serving tray and serve hot.
