 Printer friendly page

Yield: 1 serving

3/4 cup nonfat or low-fat milk
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
2 tablespoons no-added-sugar chocolate milk mix (such as sugar-free Nestlé’s Quick) or reduced-sugar chocolate syrup
Light whipped cream (optional)
Ground cinnamon or grated chocolate (optional)

1. Combine the milk and milk powder in a 2-cup glass measure and stir to mix.  Microwave at high power for about 1 1/2 minutes or until hot and steamy. Stir briskly with a wire whisk until foamy.

2. Pour the coffee into a 12-ounce mug and stir in chocolate mix or syrup. Pour the milk over the top. If desired, top with some whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate. Serve immediately.
